BATTERY BACK UP W/HOUSING - OVERHEAD DOOR WALL MOUNT

Have had two of these for a year and a half. After charging for days, when I unplug one opener to use the other garage door, I come home from work 9 hours later to find the battery dead. So, good for only very short term use. Really, make them out of lithium so that they will hold a charge longer.

After searching your site to see if the model 9020H was capable of adding on a backup battery kit, I found and ordered the kit pictured above. It was easy to install and works great. I can now open the door if the power is out.
