DEAD BOLT - DIE CAST

After looking at the quality of garage door deadbolts at Lowes and Home Depot I decided to try the door manufacturer, Overhead Door. Finding the item was effortless on their website, ordered, the item was shipped and arrived within days. Great quality and direct replacement including using the same screw holes for easy installation

Arrived poorly packaged, just in a box in a bubble envelope, with the box all but destroyed thanks to the usps. However despite this, everything was intact thankfully. The deadbolt itself, the actual internals are mostly stamped metal and I found when using the key, part of the time the mechanism would fail and not open with the key. Thankfully I was able to re-use my original deadbolt which did not have these problems as it turned out all I needed was the new lock cylinder.
