Had a little problem getting my passcode to set but after 3 tries finally works.

After purchasing a "universal" keyless entry which said would work with Overhead Door, but did not, I purchased this product, it was easy to program and install and worked the first time! Thanks!

This is a great addition, but set-up was unnecessarily misleading. The instruction sheet does not explicitly say that you need to hit the Program button on the opener head TWICE. Need to call tech support for help, which is interestingly NOT the number given on the instruction sheet (that number will want you to schedule a service call for $125 minimum). But once programmed, it works great. I'll note that this was a replacement keypad for the unit that died after about 5 years in our salty climate, and admittedly without our being diligent about closing the cover always.

Very solid design. Easy install, the entire process took about 10 minutes. Took paint easily and looks great. I liked it much better than previous models I have purchased from other companies.

I have an Overhead door, so I bought this product because the two other "Universal" openers I previously tried to connect simply would not. Sadly, this one was also difficult to sync (the printed directions were even different than the ones on the sticker inside the opener. Crazy? I got frustrated and just started hitting random buttons. THEN the opener synced and now works fine ?!?

Other than it is bulky it works just as it is supposed to. I wanted a black unit but could only find it in white.

sometimes programming devices requires a few tricks, fine print, and trial & error. Not this one. Followed the few simple steps, and worked perfectly on first try. Was installed on a 12 yr. old Overhead Door brand opener.
