      Correct Replacement for Original OEM Part BUT

      This bracket was the correct OEM replacement part for the bracket which failed, however in doing further research online I learned that it was far more effective to replace it with what is called a reinforcemental bracket. The reinforcemental bracket is much lon get and spreads the force of the weight of the garage door over a larger area, thereby greatly reducing the strain on the connection between the opener arm and the garage door. Several door manufacturer's specify that a reinforcemental bracket must be installed to the warranty to be honored, so it really doesn't make much sense to replace a broken one of this part with another one. Also FYI you can't use this part with a reinforcement bracket, they are mutually exclusive.

      Good part but expensive delivery

      Part is as described, but cost for simple shipping was almost 3 times the cost. Not sure but think shipping could have been much cheaper!!! I've had much larger products shipped at almost half the cost!!!
