      #3 NARROW HINGE DID NOT FIT OLD GARAGE DOOR

      The garage door was 35 year old and I dont think the original hinges are available, but the one supplied was jerry rigged to get the job done. The open slots in the hinge allow it to me moved to fit the panel connection. With the drilling of one hole, the implanted bolt ends fit exactly. The old hinge did not have a number on it, but the end hinges on either side were #2 and #4. I was told that the #3 hinge is the one that always fails. I agree with this because this is the second hinge I have replaced in the same place.
