LIMIT CLIP - OHD CHAIN

I have an old Overhead Door system that had 2-piece, screw together limit clips, and was worried that this might not work- but it snapped into the chain and is a perfect fit!

We have an Overhead Door Garage Door opener that must be thirty years old. It has given us solid service and started giving us problems. One was a solid state part that burned out because one of the Limiting Clips that was attached to the chain broke. I found two replacement varistors on eBay and replaced them but I was at a loss to replace the Limiting Clips. On the model 45A as well as the 65A the originals were two part nylon pieces that bolted through the chains. It turns out that these single piece pieces were an upgraded piece. They clipped on the chain (one piece rather than 4) and worked perfectly. Thank you Overhead Door Parts Online!!!

I have a very old Model 65b, with an older design for this part. It was a two-piece part (a "sandwich" held together by bolts 105805-0001 and 105806-0001) and I couldn't find one of the halves.

I contacted this site, and Richard replied back that this would be a suitable replacement; I ordered it, and it works beautifully. It's *so* satisfying when a simple $10 piece of plastic means you can do a proper repair to a simple problem.

I'm also quite grateful this site exists; I have my doubts that my local Overhead Door dealer would have this part, and even if they did, may not have agreed to sell it to me without paying for a service call.
