My garage door was installed in '92 and the power door opener still works like a charm but over the years the remote cases were broken leaving me with a wired keypad. When doing a search for remotes Overhead Door popped up with description on how to find frequency of the opener. Ordering was easy peasy. Unit came with instructions on setting the code.

Richard was amazing! I emailed with him and spoke with him on the phone and he helped me get my "old school" garage openers to work with the remotes he sent me. I received them really fast. Definitely the customer service was VERY MUCH appreciated !!

I fooled with a 'Universal Remote' supposedly compatible with everything for a couple of hours only to discover that it will never work. I bought this Overhead Door remote and was done programming in a few minutes.

I have an older model opener and needed a new remote. I e mailed customer service with the my old my model number, they sent a link to the exact remote. Got here quickly. I copied the code off my old remote and it worked like a charm.

This opener worked great after I figured how to set my door opener on switch 2 (SW2). Just open the back cover and hold down SW2 until it beeps and flashes. If your new remote is set for switch 2, you're in business.
