SAFETY SENSOR KIT - (REPLACED BY 37221R)

These replacement sensors worked perfectly!

I had a garage door that would start to go down but the sensors it had would stop it and send it back up. Replaced with these type and the door shuts like it should. Thank you very much!!!

Service was great. Price seemed high. The sensors which were replacements for the original model, worked fine.

Easy to replace!

I tried to order the kit shown above and was instead shipped another unit. The reason I ordered the Safety Sensor Kit and not the 37221R was due to my overhead door unit being an older model (circa 1994). The kit I ordered is supposed to work with my setup while the newer model does not. If the manufacturer no longer makes the kit I originally ordered take it off your website and do not offer it. Even though you have a disclaimer it doesn't make what you did any less of a bait and switch. Very dissatisfied and will not be ordering from this company in the future.

There are two, one has a green light and the other has a red light. The red one would not allow the door to shut when the sun broke over the trees and shined on it till the house shaded it a few hours later. I had to stand so my shadow fell on it to get it to work. The replacements fixed the problem and were easy to install. Overhead Door had one price online and I figured I'd save myself the shipping costs by stopping by the store near me. But the guy at the store quoted me a price roughly 80% higher than the online price, 40% higher with the shipping costs. He called the sensors I found online (here) knockoffs. I don't know what sort of corporate structure Overhead Door has, but it's not working if there is such a price disparity between the central entity and its satellites that even with shipping costs the product is cheaper online. Ironically, when I came home to place the online order there was a 10% off email waiting for me because I left the item in my shopping cart so long. Made me smile, that. Anyway, the replacements look a little different and I installed them a bit higher so a broom can get under them. They work just fine, thank you very much.

My old sensors had become very sensitive to sunlight. I installed the new sensors and everything worked as expected. Price and devliery was very reasonable. Great value and quality.
