      Fixed My Issue

      I was having problems with my garage door stopping midway or stopping and reversing directions. I had the local Overhead Door Company come out and they adjusted the resistance for when the door stops and replaced an old wall unit, but it kept doing the same thing. A waste of over $175 for a service call. I did some research and found out a faulty circuit board could cause what my door was doing. It was cheaper than another service call so I ordered and installed the new circuit board. So far it has been working for weeks without anymore issues. Should have done this before wasting money on a service call.

      I have a shop with 8 of the legacy openers installed in 2001 . Had one of them start acting up with intermittent function. First thought it was a reverse sensor shorting out but not it.

      Some solder joint on the board must be loose/broken.

      The fact that Overhead door still stocks parts for these and the user can do the repair is almost unheard of today.

      Was very easy to install and fixed the problem I had with the original board not supplying power for the sensors.

      Old board stopped working. New ones were clearly an update from the 20 year old units I had but we're a perfect replacement. No issues at all.
