Circuit board
The directions are great. And everything fit, and the connections were all there. But all the lights are on and everything seems to be working except the circuit board doesn’t engage the motor. Everything in the garage door opener was working, and I only bought the circuitboard because of the electricallight on the opener inside the
garage. There is no reason the There is no reason opener should work. ????? -
Model 7030 Control Board
Replacement worked well.

Circuit board
Works well. After install when trying to set the limits the door would only move a couple of inches at a time. Double checked the connections of the new cable to the motor and it corrected the issue.

Cuircuit Board - Odessey 1000 Series III Replacement
The board came quickly to Alaska, was half the price vs getting it from a local distributor, instructions were clear and easy.
Only problem was that the wiring diagram for the 3-wire jumper to the motor showed the wire colors (Red&Green) just opposite of how the new jumper came configured in the plastic plug end to be plugged into the motor operator. I called to confirm and they recommended switching the wires, which I did (cut and wired nutted the red to the green and green to the red so it matched the daigram. The door control would only move the door up or down a couple inches each time I pressed it to set the limits. SO I switched back to the way it came from the factory and the door worked fine. Otherwise, no problem. -
Easy replacement with good instruction
wish the new wall console had the led light like the old one did.

Circuit Board
Lost power due to car knocking out power box/pole. Garage door opener quit. This fixed it, not hard to replace. Directions ok, not 100% perfect but you will figure it out. A little disappointed that a power outage damaged the entire thing. My other garage door openers (2) had no issues. Not sure why this has diagnostic pins/ports as there are basically 2 parts to open in the housing - the circuit board & the motor. I had power at outlet, not at opener so figured this was the issue. Installed new board according to directions & the included wall control. Followed the remaining instructions & it worked fine. Have installed an line surge protector to hopefully prevent this failure again. Should have an integrated circuit breaker or fuse as part of design. Local Overhead door vendor was more expensive for part AND would charge a service fee just to come out. Do it yourself. Common sense, a ladder, screwdriver & wrench is really all you need.

CIRCUIT BOARD - ODYSSEY 1000 SERIES III
I have two Odyssey Overhead garage door openers. Even though I have both units on surge protectors, the power company outages have managed to damage both circuit board assemblies. I replaced the first opener circuit board two years ago and due to a recent power outage, I am replacing the second opener circuit board. They are very easy to install and have detailed instructions. Hopefully, I will not have to replace again in the future.

Circuit Board
Perfect replacement for our Odyssey 1000. Pretty simple DIY project. Great instructions included. Capacitor for this model of opener is integrated into the board, so if your capcitor is kaput, this is the part you need.

Odyssey 1000 circuit board
Great instructions - easy swap out - easy setup. It works great. I put a surge protector on this one because I believe lightning blew the last one.
