CIRCUIT BOARD - ODYSSEY 1000 SERIES III

I have two Odyssey Overhead garage door openers. Even though I have both units on surge protectors, the power company outages have managed to damage both circuit board assemblies. I replaced the first opener circuit board two years ago and due to a recent power outage, I am replacing the second opener circuit board. They are very easy to install and have detailed instructions. Hopefully, I will not have to replace again in the future.

Perfect replacement for our Odyssey 1000. Pretty simple DIY project. Great instructions included. Capacitor for this model of opener is integrated into the board, so if your capcitor is kaput, this is the part you need.

Great instructions - easy swap out - easy setup. It works great. I put a surge protector on this one because I believe lightning blew the last one.

Board wasn't to difficult to install. Easy to program. Came with the white button wall console. Seems overpriced.

Our single car garage door shorted out after attempting to open with the metal lock bar on. I replaced the circuit board and the opener as supplied and suggested with this purchase. It does work, which I’m thankful for BUT it sounds like it struggles a bit and is definitely slower than my original circuit board. Saved some money but not 5 stars because it wasn’t absolutely perfect IMO.

After a snowstorm in which the electricity fluxed on and off several times, my Odyssey 1000 garage door opener would not work and there were no lights at all on the opener or the wall mounted remote. I ordered this part and plugged it back in to all the original plus and followed the directions, replacing the wall mounted black button remote with the white button wall mounted remote that came with the board, and everything works as it should. I'm very pleased.

The old one seemed to start and stop door movement slowly then speed up. This doesn’t seem to do that.

Very happy to find that I could just replace the circuit board instead of the whole garage door opener. Came with straightforward instruction for installation and setting up the door again. Would definitely recommend this product to anyone who needs a new board in their Odyssey 1000 opener.

Replacement board worked great and was easy to install and program. The installation instructions neglected to state that when the unit was initially powered up that both lights on the power unit would be red until the upper and lower limits are set.

Board replacement went well! Exact upgraded board for my one that failed. Took less than 30 minutes to install and program. Well worth replacing the board vs the entire opener that is only 9 yrs old and on a door that is barely used. Thanks
