    THIS CIRCUIT BOARD HAS BEEN REDESIGNED AND MAY APPEAR DIFFERENT THAN THE ORIGINAL CIRCUIT BOARD INSTALLED IN THE GARAGE DOOR OPENER.

    REPLACES PART # 38335R3.S. THE ORIGINAL PART # FOR THIS CIRCUIT BOARD WAS 374703.S.

    Circuit board assembly for the Overhead Door Odyssey 1000 (model #7030) garage door opener. This circuit board automatically includes a replacement series II wall console (part #38076R).

    IMPORTANT: This circuit board uses a series II OCWC2-BX wall console (part # 38067R). If your Odyssey 1000 garage door opener uses a series III wall console, with BLACK BUTTONS, (part #37223R), you MUST replace the wall console with the one that is included with this circuit board (part #38076R).

      Replacing the old board that was killed by an electrical outage was simple, but took me a couple of hours since I was not familiar with the parts of my opener power head and had to read and follow the directions . carefully. In the end, mission accomplished. The door opener now works good as new.

      The install was straight forward. Saved me $$. The only downside I have found is that my garage door does not open as fast as it used to. I have three of these openers and the new board has slowed one of them down.

      Like others have experienced, the old unit died from a power outage or possibly from a storm, hard to tell. Replacement board is slightly different, but this comes with everything you need: make sure to read instructions and use the new wall control. Instructions say to throw away the ground cable. Not sure why. Awesome product, awesome company.

      My door just stopped working after a power outage. Eventually determined it must be a failed component on the board because the cord had power ond fuse on the board was good. The new board came with an updated cord for the drive motor and updated wall controller. It also came with the most important element - clear instructions. Replacement was super easy - 3 screws and 3 plugs. Everything worked fine after reprogramming.
