This external receiver replaces part numbers 36163S.S and 36240R.
Use this extremal radio receiver across several applications with not only Overhead Door and Genie garage door openers but also with many other brands of openers. Includes an A/C adapter pack and one (1) O3T (part #37219R) Overhead Door remote control.
Receives its power directly from the garage door opener and can operate up to 64 different Overhead Door Code Dodger or Genie Interllicode remote controls (315/390MHz). This receiver is not compatible with fixed code remote controls utilizing a 360, 380, 390 or 412 MHz. It is not compatible with commercial grade operators utilizing an open/close/stop push button.

Quick and easy
Very quick and easy install to upgrade old old garage door opener that's working fine, to newer code dodger tech. In particular handles all the remotes you could. I was able to use the included power supply since an outlet was nearby. But if not, it also comes with the 2 terminals to run doorbell wire as far as you need for supply. Glad they didn't cheap out like some products and not include a power supply for short distance install. All in all, took 15 min to install, and most of that was securing the wire in place along the long run to the garage door opener terminals.
