P-BULB WEATHERSEAL, BOTTOM - 280/288/180/381/390 SERIES

The product quality was good but it was very difficult to install. It did not slide easily into the old bracket. Had to use a lot of grease and pull like hell.

I only needed 55 ft but HAD to order 60. Shipping cost of $28.00 Too much and you should offer alternative delivery by a cheaper method. I was in no hurry for the item. Got the job done but feel ripped of by this transaction and will consider this if I again need something from Overhead Doors.

great product, fairly easy to install, very quick shipping. I told by my local deal this produchad been discontinued, so I ordered from the "Overhead Door"web site with no problems.

The weatherseal installed with expected level of difficulty, fit well, and formed bulb shape as soon as door was lowered. No daylight is visible below closed door.

I purchased two 10 ft. sections of P-Bulb weather seal from the Overhead Door Company as it wasn’t available locally. Shipping was expensive, but both seals were exact replacements although somewhat thinner. Replacing was easy. Stopped the door approximately eye level, uncrimped both ends and pulled the old seal out. Cleaned track with a brush, applied a small amount of dish washing soap to P part of seal and with the help of my wife, slid the new seal through track and crimped track ends. Very easy and quick. Did two 8ft. doors and next will be the 16ft. door. Haven’t done it yet, but I don’t see a problem with the additional length. Be careful who you buy from on line. Some of the P-Bulb weather seals are not P but D and the D-Bulb is inferior and drops out of the track. I found out the hard way. Overhead Door Company sells exactly what they advertise. Thank you Overhead Door Company. Getting ready to place another order.
P.S. Mine came out of the box flat too, but after installation, opening and closing my garage doors, they maintain a bulb shape and flatten out when door seal seats to floor.

I decided to go with the original replacement seal from Overhead believing it would be of better quality or equal to what I already had. The seal I removed was thicker material and held it's shape for 18 years. This new one is thinner and came out of the box flat. It does not compare to the original seal. Wish I had gone with less expensive alternatives.

After being told in town that this part is no longer available and that I needed to buy an entire new channel I decided to look online. Thank gooddness I found OHD parts online. They shipped exactly what I needed very quickly. Parts fit perfectly and I'm back in service. Thank you so much.

Paid a lot for shipping and came rolled up in small box. It did NOT return to correct shape when unrolled. Installed and still not in correct shape. Not even close to original. Not worth the higher price to try to get original from Overhead Doors.

Works well. Almost as good as the original from 40 years ago. Looks real good when closed. A nice rounded shape, that goes end to end, no flopping.
And we used the OHD coupon.
