The Overhead Door power extension kit (alternate power kit) is compatible with the Overhead Door Wall Mount garage door opener (model #9120H, 9120HB, 9020H and 9020HB).
The kit is perfect for applications without a 115 VAC outlet within 5ft of the opener at the time of the installation. An electrician is not required to install the kit and simply replaces the transformer and power cord in the chassis of the garage door opener. The low voltage cable provides up to 30 ft. of additional cord which can be cut to the desired length for a clean look.
