WEATHERSEAL, BOTTOM - THERMACORE

Good to have this valuable supplier, from which we purchased something we could not find anywhere else, but so useful to us. Now we have a perfect garage door again.

Arrived on time and a perfect fit. Cheaper than other places and they made it a little longer than the length ordered, which worked out perfectly!

After searching the big box stores and internet for the right door seal, this one did the job. The seal was easy to install with some silicone spray to work it across the length of the door.

Replaced original door seal from 1988 door. Removed the old seal and cleaned the track. Lubricated with WD40 and installed new rubber. Works best if you have a helper to feed the seal as you pull it down the track.
Good service, arrived in 3 days in Central NY from order date, would order parts from company again.

Old one wouldn’t slide out but came out with a little elbow grease and WD40 then the new one went in with a little tugging and looks great.

My dogs chewed the original seal off. I purchased a new 10' section to replace it. Add some soap to help slide the seal in from one side and it was as good as new.

This product performs as original. It was difficult to install but I may not have done it the easiest way. I slid in starting on one side of door and had to slide it slowly but surely to the other side

Replacement is identical to the original seal. Installation went smoothly and accurate. Seal perfect fit to the door.

Glad to find what I needed. Works perfectly. Installation...once you figure out HOW...is actually easy once you add some soapy water to help it glide thru! Took a while to understand exactly how to do, but then felt silly once we figured it out!

I was able to install this but it tore during installation - on the sharp edge of the metal lip on the door. Luckily it was in the first foot and I had ordered extra so I was able to cut it off at the end. I was surprised how soft it is - it tore very easily lengthwise (harder to cut across). The one I removed (came with the house when it was built) felt like bicycle rubber whereas this felt much more flexible and tender. No other tears though and my garage is warmer now that I have a full seal across the bottom.

This is a great product. The original lasted over 15 years. Installing it is a little challenge, but the fit is perfect. You cannot go wrong.
